What we collect

When you submit an enquiry through this site we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the interest type you select, the message you write and the page the enquiry was sent from.

We collect standard technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which content is useful.

Where you become a client, we collect the documents and information necessary to act for you — identity documents, property records, financial details relevant to a transaction and correspondence.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to provide the services you engage us for, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to keep records of what we did and why.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Where a mandate requires it, we share information with professionals acting on the same matter — advocates, chartered accountants, valuers, surveyors and registration authorities. We tell you when we do this.

We use third-party service providers for email delivery, website hosting and analytics. These providers process information on our instruction and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We disclose information where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a regulator with jurisdiction over us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become mandates are retained for twenty-four months and then deleted.

Client records are retained for eight years after the mandate closes, which reflects the limitation periods applicable to property transactions in India, and longer where a specific legal or regulatory requirement applies.

Security

Client documents are held in access-controlled storage. Access is limited to the team members working on your matter. Original documents held on your behalf are kept in secured physical storage and logged in and out.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that affects your information, we will tell you and tell the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
